When you're looking for some additional living space, a detached veranda within your garden can be an excellent option. If you don't have enough wall space available to attach it to your home or would just like to have a peaceful, detached retreat, it’s an attractive and cost-effective choice. You can even tailor the veranda exactly to your own tastes and budget.

All of or verandas are delivered with clear and easy assembly instructions. They are available in standard or customised sizes so that all needs are catered for. You have a choice of white, cream and graphite grey as standard colours; or if you would like something more specific, there are bespoke colours available on request.

The veranda is constructed from aluminium, and with
a roof load that is equivalent to approximately 50cm of snow, it can provide some protection from even the worst weather conditions. There are different roof options available for your veranda including glass and three different types of polycarbonate, so you can choose exactly how much light to allow in.

You can install LED lights and select from a wide range of blinds and shades available to customise your space. If a heater is installed, you can even enjoy your beautiful garden retreat during the colder months. A detached veranda creates a peaceful, relaxing space within your own garden that can be used to entertain friends or just to enjoy a quiet glass of wine.

When you choose the structure of your garden room or veranda, you aren't relegated to a plain wooden colour anymore. You can now choose from a variety of colours, including grey, white and cream to really make it stand out. Then, you can add colour matched roof blinds, lighting and heating products to enhance the space.

When it comes to the ceiling materials, you can choose from a range of options. That includes clear polycarbonate, which allows more natural light in than some other options. Opal polycarbonate is great for allowing some light in, but also for blocking some sunlight so you can seek refuge from the sun's rays when it's too hot. Glass is also an option, one that lets in plenty of light and allows you see out of your sunshade structure. You can also choose IR clear polycarbonate, which helps repel heat so that the inside of your structure is cool, even when it's hot outside.

If you plan to spend time outdoors after dark, it makes sense to install some kind of lighting inside your garden room. LED lights are a premier option that create atmosphere and make it easy to see and which can also be controlled with a remote device.

You'll also need gutters on your structure to keep it safe from the elements and move moisture and precipitation away from your home so it doesn't damage it. The standard gutter is always a fine choice that blends with most garden room and veranda construction. However, you can also choose a round or classic design if you want to create a unique look.

If you want roof shades or blinds, you can choose from a varied selection of materials and colours to get the look you want. The blinds can cover the spaces in your structure to keep the sun out when you want to provide some shade.

Finally, heating systems enable you to enjoy your outdoor space all year round. Heaters are available in several sizes and strengths so that you can match your needs to the perfect outdoor heater.
